The Burnout Series

Exhibition about the daily distress of whoever goes through a burnout. It focuses on the struggle between work-life balance, extra hours, bad bosses, and of course, therapy. In short, the Burnout Series is an exhibition about the daily life of many of us, somewhere between the tragic and the comic.

The up-and-coming high fashion house Smooth wanted to create a bold shoot for their autumn/winter collection, using Alice in Wonderland as its main inspiration.

Yellow focuses on juxtapositioning futuristic shape with bright color in a way that brings justice to the Smooth's autumn/winter collection.

We wanted to create images that felt still but simultaneously bold and futuristic

As Smooth is working in the frontline of sustainable and responsible fashion, we didn't want to bury the materials with elaborate backgrounds and sets

Smooth ended up using many of the images on their website and in big print advertising campaigns across Europe and North America
